Cha Dao Tea Ceremony · July 11th

$44.00

Saturday, July 11 · 9:00–10:30 AM

This ceremony is a gentle refuge… a space to soften, to settle, and to return to the quiet center within. It is an invitation to step away from the pace of daily life and be held by the simple, steady medicine of tea.

As a patient, ancient teacher, tea meets us exactly where we are. It asks nothing of us, and yet opens a doorway into presence, connection, and deep listening.

Rooted in Cha Dao, the Way of Tea, the ceremony becomes a quiet weaving of fire, water, earth, and space. In silence, we enter a shared field of breath, sensation, and awareness. With each bowl, we are invited into a more intimate conversation… with the tea, with the body, and with  the quiet intelligence of the natural world.

This is an intimate, co-ed offering open to all.

Over the course of ninety minutes, tea will be served in several quiet rounds, accompanied by music. Within a small circle of 3-4 participants, the ceremony unfolds without conversation, creating space to simply sit, listen, reflect, and be. We close with a brief circle of sharing, allowing the quiet wisdom of the experience to find words before we return to the day.

Location: Woodland Hills, California (address shared upon registration)
