September Sangha
A weekday morning practice in silence, presence & community
Join the Morning SanghaA threshold, together
Starting Tuesday, September 1st, I'll be offering a free, 30-minute morning practice each weekday through the month of September, from 6:30–7:00 AM PT.
September has always felt like a threshold to me, the quiet turning of the wheel and the beginning of something new.
To honor this threshold, I'd love to gather each weekday morning for a simple practice of silence, presence, and community. This offering is an opportunity to begin the day together before the world asks anything of us. Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to invite the men in your life.
The Shape of Our Time
Our Morning Practice
-
A Poem to Open
Each morning begins with a poem to orient us toward presence.
-
Shared Silence
We'll settle into ten minutes of meditation together.
-
Music & Personal Practice
Music will accompany the second half of our time. How you meet this part of the practice is entirely your own. You may feel called to move, remain in stillness, stretch, journal, or simply be. There is no right way, only an invitation to follow your own inner rhythm.
-
Closing Intention
We'll end by briefly sharing an intention to carry into the day.
Unlike my circles, which are more guided, these mornings will hold very few words, honoring the tenderness of the morning hours. Together we'll create a quiet container where each person is free to meet the practice in their own way.
At the Threshold of Morning
Before the day's momentum takes hold, there's a small window where listening comes more easily. This practice is simply an invitation to begin the day from that place.
Come As You Are
Come sleepy, grounded, joyful, uncertain, quiet, or full of life. However you arrive is enough.
